For over 10 years, Vaughan Fridge Repair has been helping Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Newmarket, and Aurora families and businesses keep their appliances running smoothly.

Vaughan Fridge Repair – Operated by Quick Fix Appliance Experts

The following Terms and Conditions apply to any service plan or service agreement provided through Vaughan Fridge Repair, operated by Quick Fix Appliance Experts. By purchasing or using our refrigerator repair services, you agree to the terms outlined below.


Renewal of Your Service Plan

For your convenience, your service plan will automatically renew on each anniversary of your Coverage Date (“Anniversary Date”) unless:

  • You notify us before the Anniversary Date that you do not wish to renew your plan, or

  • We notify you prior to the Anniversary Date that your plan will not be renewed.


Plan Coverage

This service plan applies to residential refrigerator units only and is intended for single-family residences, including:

  • Houses

  • Townhomes

  • Condominiums

  • Apartments

  • Modular or manufactured homes permanently anchored to a foundation

This plan does not cover:

  • Refrigerators located in commercial properties or homes used primarily for business purposes

  • Refrigerators located in shared or common areas of multi-unit buildings

  • Multiple refrigerators of the same type in a single residence (coverage applies to the first unit serviced unless otherwise agreed)


Plan Cancellation

Vaughan Fridge Repair reserves the right to cancel or discontinue a service plan at any time.

If the plan was paid in full in advance, any eligible refund will be calculated on a pro-rata basis. We will complete any refrigerator repair service requests that were submitted before cancellation.

If the plan is paid in installments and is canceled by you or due to non-compliance (including non-payment), the remaining balance may still be billed, unless otherwise specified.

You may cancel your plan at any time by contacting our support team (see Contact Us section).


Moving to a New Residence

If you relocate during the coverage period:

Transfer Option

Your service plan may be transferred to your new residence, provided the location is within our service coverage area. Any remaining balance will be transferred and applied to the updated plan.

Cancellation Option

If you choose not to transfer your plan or if your new residence is outside our service area, the remaining balance may be billed according to the agreement.

Please notify us at least 30 days before your move to ensure proper transfer or cancellation.


Refund Policy

Within 10 Days

You may receive a full refund if no refrigerator repair service has been provided.

If service has already been performed, the refund will be adjusted to deduct the service cost.

Ineligible Equipment

If your refrigerator is determined to be ineligible for coverage and no service has been performed, you may receive a refund of up to 12 months of payments.

If service has already been performed, refunds may be calculated from the last service date.


Changes to Terms

We may update or modify the terms, conditions, or pricing of the service plan. Any changes will be communicated 30–90 days prior to the next Anniversary Date and will take effect on that date.


Diagnosis, Liability & Warranty

Diagnosis

Refrigerator repair service will be provided if the appliance:

  • Is located within the home’s permanent structure

  • Was properly installed and operational on the Coverage Date

  • Is accessible and safe for technicians to service


Liability

We make every effort to diagnose and repair refrigerator issues during the first visit. However, Vaughan Fridge Repair is not liable for delays caused by:

  • Parts availability

  • Incorrect initial diagnosis

  • External circumstances beyond our control

Our responsibility is limited to correcting covered refrigerator repair issues.

We are not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing defects

  • Damage caused by unauthorized repairs

  • Items covered by a manufacturer warranty

  • Consequential or indirect damages

All repairs must be performed by authorized technicians from Quick Fix Appliance Experts.


Unavailable Parts or Non-Repairable Equipment

If refrigerator parts are unavailable or repair is not economically feasible, either party may terminate the service plan.

Where applicable, a refund of up to 12 months of payments from the last service date may be issued.


Repair Warranty

All covered refrigerator repair services include a 90-day workmanship warranty, unless the repaired part is covered by a longer manufacturer warranty.


Service Exclusions

This service plan does not cover:

  • Refrigerators used for commercial purposes

  • Pre-existing problems

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or improper installation

  • Fire, flood, storms, earthquakes, or other natural disasters

  • Vandalism, theft, or accidental damage

  • Damage caused by pests, mold, rust, corrosion, or hazardous materials

  • Code violations or required upgrades

  • Consumable items such as filters or fuses

  • Cosmetic or structural repairs (walls, flooring, cabinets)

  • Repairs performed by unauthorized technicians

  • Appliances still under manufacturer or builder warranty

  • Preventative maintenance unless explicitly included

We reserve the right to exclude certain refrigerator models or equipment types.


Technician Safety

Our technicians must work in safe and sanitary conditions.

We may refuse service if:

  • The refrigerator is inaccessible

  • The environment is unsafe or hazardous

  • The area does not allow proper service access

In such cases, we reserve the right to cancel the service plan without refund.


Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.


Entire Agreement

This document represents the entire agreement between the customer and Vaughan Fridge Repair, operated by Quick Fix Appliance Experts, and replaces any prior agreements or communications.


Conflicts

If any conflict arises between this document and other enrollment materials, the terms in this document will prevail.


Assignment

We may assign or transfer this agreement without prior notice. Customers may not assign the agreement without written consent from Vaughan Fridge Repair.


Notices

We may contact you using the phone number or email address you provide. You are responsible for ensuring your contact information remains up to date.


Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, government actions, supply chain disruptions, or other unforeseen events.
